Do customers need to sign up to purchase and download their digital product?
NO- They do not need to create a Shopify account. How it works:
- Customer checks out as a guest using Paystack.
- They enter their email address and billing details at checkout and completes payment on the Paystack payment page.
- After payment, they are redirected back to the Shopify store. Shopify and the Digital Downloads app automatically send them a download link via email and Shopify will display the order confirmation page and will show a download button or link of the digital product on the order confirmation page.
Do customers need to enter shipping details to purchase the digital product?
Customers do not need to enter shipping details to purchase the digital product. At checkout, they should only provide their email address- that is how we will deliver your eBook instantly. Billing details are required as they are a part of Paystack's payment processing system.
AFFILIATE PROGRAM FAQ
How does the sign-up bonus work on the affiliate program?
The sign-up bonus is added to the affiliate's unpaid balance automatically after they register. It is not automatically paid out. It counts toward their payout threshold. The sign-up bonus is $30 (R532,76). The payout threshold is $403.10 (R7 158,57). Affiliates need to earn $373.10 (R6 625,81). more in commission to be able to cash out the full $403.10. Affiliates earn 23% commission which is $5.74 (R101,94) per sale generated.
How do affiliates cash out once they have reached the threshold payout?
Threshold based payout request is not available. Payouts are manually processed and paid out by Claire Beams via PayPal. Payments are made using the affiliate's payment details (PayPal email address). Affiliates enter the payment details when they sign up.
